System electronics for automated roulette wheels

System electronics for automated roulette wheels

This product controls the work of automated roulette wheels form our own production. System electronics for the automated roulette wheel controls the work of all three electric motors and coordinates it with the ball position reading system of the automated roulette wheel, which is a standard part of each of the standard types of our automated roulette wheels.

The system electronics of automated roulette wheels can function in:

1) automatic mode

In this case, the system electronics and the automated roulette wheel function automatically. The wheel will start functioning if you turn the power on.

Working parameters are adjusted to standard settings:

  • the speed of the main motor of the automated roulette wheel: randomly changes four times in the course of one game within preset parameters
  • the speed of ball injection: changes randomly within preset parameters
  • lifting the central cone of the automated roulette wheel / passing the ball into the turret: after reading of winning number
System electronics for automated roulette wheels

The preset operation parameters for the automated roulette wheel system electronics can simply be changed using a PC.

In the automatic mode the system electronics does not receive orders from the main computer, but outputs all the necessary information on the functioning of the device.

2) semi-automatic mode

In the semi-automatic mode the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel controls the three motors of the automated roulette wheel according to the orders received from the main computer.

The system electronics also sends the data on executed orders, as well as on the position of the ball and the winning number, to the computer.

Details

The system electronics of the automated roulette wheel and the external system (PC) communicate through the RS232 serial port.

The system electronics of the automated roulette wheel can function in the automatic or in the semi-automatic mode.

In the semi-automatic mode, the game is run by the external system (PC). The orders are sent to the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel in a specific format, in a specific order and time periods. After receiving the order, the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel executes it.

E.g., the external system can give an order to inject the ball by giving the order to the system electronics: BR|KGO| number in milliseconds |CRC|ST.

BR|KGO - order
Number in milliseconds – determines for how many milliseconds the motor in the injectors will function
CRC – control number, used to check whether the order was correct
ST – mark for the end of the order

Upon the receipt of the order, the system control of the automated roulette returns the information to the external system by outputting the sentence: BR|KGO|x|CRC|ST.

BR|KGO – order
x – 0 means that the order has been executed, 1 means that the order has not been executed
CRC – control number, used to check whether the order was correct
ST – mark for the end of the order

In the automatic mode the game is run by the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel. Upon the start of the operation of the system, the external system (PC) has to send the parameters that determine the cycle of the game (border parameters for ball speed, duration of breaks, speed of the disc rotation, etc.) to the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel. From that point on, the system electronics of the automated roulette wheel runs the game cycle independently and sends current data on the execution of orders, the current proceeding of the game cycle, the winning number etc. to the external system through the serial port.

Here is an example of one cycle sent to the external system:

BR|CFB| - waiting for the ball in the starting position
BR|RDL| - break before a new cycle
BR|WSC|30| - rotate the disc at 30 turns/min
BR|BSC|4000| - inject the ball while keeping the injector on for 4000 milliseconds
BR|WSD| - break before the disc slows down
BR|WWC|25| - rotate the disc at 25 turns/min
BR|JOC|15| - rotate the disc at 15 turns/min
BR|WIN|13| - the winning number is 13
BR|WIN|13| - the winning number is 13
BR|WIN|13| - the winning number is 13
BR|WDL| - break for wining number reading
